I am usually a cash and carry type of guy. If I do not have money on me at the store, I would pass on the purchase. This year, I wanted to attempt something different during the holidays. I wanted to see if I could buy all my Christmas purchases without going to the store and do it all online.
Now don’t get me wrong, in the past I would look through the weekly paper flyers, hit the malls and shopping warehouses, and even tolerate the long lines like everyone else. However, this year, I sat in my comfy recliner watching television while connected to the Internet on my laptop. I had my list of suggested items per family member and each night I would just search around for the best pricing. No website was off limits. I frequent walmart.com, target.com, amazon.com, and even was able to get some stuff on ebay.com. The cool thing was that I was able to find deals, shopped on Cyber Monday (at home of course, not at work), and got most of my stuff with free shipping. I would read the emails sent to me by many of the vendors vying for may Xmas money and act accordingly depending on the deal.
I was actually able to find and buy online all my major purchases with plenty of time to spare. Lucky, I was able to buy everything soon enough to get all items shipped before Christmas. I will leave the smaller stocking stuffer items to buy locally. All in all, I really enjoyed the hunt of the items using the Internet. Also, putting everything on my credit card will give me added bonus points when I pay it off in January. This experiment was easy, fun, and no line or parking lot hassles. Oh by the way, I wear a size large if anyone is in the giving mood. Merry Christmas to everyone from Old Saint Click.

It definately makes it easier. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
